Marnie has a BFA in Photography from NYU's Tisch School of The Arts with an emphasis on art direction and portraiture. After over a decade of taking the F train at Bergen Street, Marnie moved under the Hollywood sign in Beachwood Canyon with her husband David and Bullpei rescue Dempsey. Some of her influences are Magritte, Julian Schnabel, Basquiat, Annette Messenger, Sally Mann, well made Italian shoes, Kate Spade, an emerging Etsy artist and any magazine she can get her hands on (or digest online). Artful, documentary, whimsical, intimate are all words that have been used to describe her work. She is currently shooting stills for a documentary, a look book for children's clothing line Joah Love, weddings and portraiture, and is available for assignments anywhere work takes her.
