Weddings | The dress

As much as I like to capture a bride's entire dress hanging from a mirror or window, sometimes an image takes shape into something more than the object(s) within its four corners. I shot this simple yet stunning Nicole Miller bridal gown against a beautiful wall of mirrors, on a shabby chic bed, hanging in a window, and its reflection in another mirror. However it is this image that to me, is sculptural and embodies the simplicity of its beauty - and the bride who wore it. For these reasons, it is my pick. As a wedding photographer, you get the safe shots but creative freedom on a job allows you to be an artist.
