My friends and neighbors B+P are quite a pair. I kind of wonder who has more fun when they are together. I think it's a tie. This is one seriously fun and thoughtful dad. You can just tell, right?

Afrouz had me out to shoot few images before her daughter Tara's sweet sixteen party at Duke's on the PCH in Malibu. While a few rain drops fell from up above they quickly disappeared and the sky was beautiful! Duke's event manager gave us access to a little patch of private beach so we could be near (okay, sometimes in) the ocean. Then the family changed into their dressy purple attire (Tara is a big Lakers fan) to get ready for the party. We weren't sure about shooting indoors but they ended up being some of my favorite shots. What a lovely family and a beautiful day. Happy Sweet sixteen, Tara! xo
